In conventional photography, we think of the camera's shutter as capturing time in parts of a second. With the antique processes, minutes and hours might be needed for one exposure in the sun, so each print corresponds to a kind of passed/past time. Even though the collected works allude to the passage of seasonal time, the entire process results in a spontaneous accumulation that archive days into months and years.
